The Clay Cliffs of Whitehorse
On the way back there's a lookoff where you can take pictures of the city on the right, and the cliffs are 'somewhat' accessible on the left. The clay is actually a lot like sandstone, but seems very fragile to the touch. You can walk up and down them beside the city, but one wouldn't want to have to scramble up the steep ones in a hurry. It's hard to picture a tree growing on these banks, and yet they do, and when they do tumble over, it takes years for them to progress down to the bottom, though it's hard to see what is holding them.
